Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center Project

We completed a guestroom furniture project for the Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center, supplying furniture for 107 hotel rooms. The project included TV cabinets, luggage racks, desks, chairs, bedside tables, combination beds and sofas. This case highlights our standardized production process, professional packaging and logistics management, and on-site installation support.

1. Drawings Analysis

Before production begins, we carry out a detailed drawings analysis based on the design drawings provided by the client. This process focuses on fully understanding project requirements, functional layouts, and design intent, ensuring that all details are suitable for manufacturing and on-site installation.

Our team carefully reviews dimensions, structures, materials, and connection details, identifying potential optimization opportunities related to usability, durability, and production efficiency. Where necessary, we propose technical adjustments or refined solutions that better align the design with real project conditions while preserving the original design concept.

Through this systematic analysis and optimization process, finalized drawings are confirmed with the client, helping reduce execution risks and ensuring a smooth transition from design to production.

2. Production After Order Confirmation

After the order was officially confirmed, production began strictly according to the approved specifications and drawings. Standardized processes were applied to ensure consistent dimensions, materials, and finishes for all furniture items across the 107 guestrooms.

As shown in the CNC production image, furniture panels were processed using computer-controlled equipment to achieve high precision and uniform quality, which is essential for large-quantity hotel projects with tight timelines.

In addition to standardized machining, manual finishing was carried out for specific components requiring detailed workmanship. As illustrated in the hand-finishing image, curved and structural parts were carefully sanded and adjusted by skilled workers to ensure smooth surfaces, accurate fitting, and reliable structural performance.

Through the combination of automated production and manual craftsmanship, the furniture was manufactured efficiently while meeting the functional and quality requirements of a large-scale convention center project.

3. Packaging & Transportation

After production was completed, all furniture items were carefully packaged and prepared for transportation. As shown in the image, finished products were neatly stacked, palletized, and securely packed in reinforced cartons to ensure stability during handling and loading. Each package was clearly labeled to facilitate efficient identification and on-site installation.

During the loading process, forklifts were used to move the packaged furniture safely and efficiently, minimizing manual handling and reducing the risk of damage. The goods were then systematically loaded onto transport vehicles according to the delivery plan, ensuring optimal use of space and stable placement throughout transit.

This organized packaging and transportation process ensured that all furniture for the 107 guestrooms arrived at the project site in good condition and on schedule, providing a solid foundation for smooth installation and final project delivery.

4. Project Execution & Results

Throughout the project, Starjoy coordinated closely with the client to confirm specifications, production progress, and delivery arrangements. The batch production was completed according to plan, allowing for smooth installation and project handover.

The successful completion of this project strengthened Starjoy’s experience in conference center hotel furniture projects and highlighted its ability to deliver large-quantity, multi-category hotel furniture solutions within a controlled timeline.
