In October 2017, we successfully completed a large-scale hotel furniture supply project for the renowned Westlake Resort & Spa, Sihanoukville, Cambodiathis. We providing 1,368 sets of premium furniture to enhance the resort's luxurious guest experience.

The order included various essential hotel furniture pieces, including beds, coffee tables, sofas, wardrobes, and cabinets. These pieces were designed to blend seamlessly with the resort's tranquil, nature-inspired surroundings, offering a balance of style, comfort, and durability for high-end hospitality use.

Drawings Analysis

Before beginning production, a thorough analysis of the project drawings was essential to ensure the furniture would integrate seamlessly into the resort’s design. Our team meticulously reviewed the architectural drawings, including floor plans and 3D renderings, to confirm the dimensions, layouts, and space utilization were aligned with the client’s requirements.

 

In this phase, we worked closely with the hotel’s design team to adjust and optimize the furniture designs based on the site-specific needs. The guestroom furniture was customized to fit standard sizes, ensuring both functionality and comfort. Additionally, we considered the local climate, which influenced our choice of materials that would be able to withstand the humid tropical conditions typical of Cambodia's coastal environment.

 

The analysis also focused on ensuring that the furniture would support the hotel’s aesthetic vision. With the beachfront location in mind, we aimed to blend natural finishes and neutral tones into the designs, ensuring that each piece would complement the surrounding landscape and provide a serene atmosphere for guests.

 

Once the final technical drawings were reviewed and approved, production commenced. This careful drawings analysis process laid the groundwork for the manufacturing phase, ensuring that the furniture met the project’s functional and aesthetic standards while being prepared for the demanding hotel environment.

Manufacturing and Quality Control

Given the remote location of the Westlake Resort & Spa, ensuring reliable and durable furniture for the humid coastal climate was crucial. We adhered to the highest quality standards during the manufacturing process.

Material selection plays a critical role in ensuring durability and suitability for the environment. For this project, we selected premium, moisture-resistant materials, especially for outdoor and high-humidity areas, to ensure the furniture would withstand the local climate, such as Cambodia's coastal weather.

 

Once materials are approved, the production process kicks off. Using advanced CNC machinery and precision craftsmanship, we ensure each piece of furniture is built to exact specifications. Our team continuously monitors the process to ensure uniformity, from the structural integrity of the frames to the fine details of surface finishing.

 

Quality control is integral throughout every stage. Each piece undergoes a final inspection to check for structural durability, finish quality, and functional reliability. Only after passing the quality checks does the furniture move on to the packaging phase, ready for delivery.

 

This comprehensive and precise production process ensures that all items are delivered on time and meet the highest standards of quality.

Delivery and Installation

Logistics and timely delivery were essential for the success of this project. Given the tight timeline leading up to the grand opening of the Westlake Resort & Spa, it was crucial that the furniture arrived at the resort site on schedule. Any delays would have jeopardized the hotel’s operational readiness, so we meticulously planned every aspect of the delivery process to ensure smooth execution.

 

To protect the furniture during transit, we implemented optimized packaging solutions. Each item was individually wrapped using high-quality, moisture-resistant materials, safeguarding the furniture from humidity and potential damage during shipping. Special care was taken to reinforce delicate corners and edges, ensuring the furniture arrived in pristine condition at the resort, ready for assembly.

 

We also coordinated closely with our local shipping partners to ensure seamless transportation. From the factory to the resort, we monitored each stage of the shipment, tracking progress and adjusting plans if necessary. By maintaining constant communication with logistics teams, we ensured that everything was delivered exactly as scheduled, avoiding any unexpected delays.

 

Once the furniture arrived at the resort, our experienced installation team took over. They quickly and efficiently assembled and positioned each piece, ensuring that the furniture was set up according to the layout plans. With precision and attention to detail, they completed the installation on time, enabling the resort to meet its opening deadline and deliver a fully furnished space to guests as planned.
